Things to do in Presque Isle Township
Hiking & Biking Trails
Anishinaabe Trail: walking/biking path along E. Grand Lake Road from Whiskey Point to New Lighthouse Park
Besser Natural Trail: hiking/biking/skiing path located south of Bell Bay in the Besser Natural Area
Thompson Harbor State Park: hiking/biking/skiing trails—park entrance is located on US 23 N ( Harbor and some trails also accessible from Old State Road.)
The New Presque Isle Lighthouse Park: hiking trails along the shores of North Bay
Rockport Sink Holes: This area is open to the public and contains over a dozen sinkholes, although trails to access them are unmarked at this time.

Presque Isle Harbor—fuel, dockage, restrooms
Sand Bay Marina—marine services, fuel, bait & supplies
Grand Lake Marina—pontoon & wave runner rentals, bait, supplies, marine services
Boat Launches-
*Lake Huron: at the Presque Isle Harbor
*Grand Lake: 1)DNR launch off of E. Grand Lake Road on south side of Lake, appx. 1/4 mile from the LaFarge Quarry Entrance (bathrooms) 2) off 638 on north side of Lake, just north of Sand Bay Marina. (bathrooms/pavilion)/park) 3) end of Dault Rd. 4) at fork at end of Black Bass Bay Rd. 5) off US –23 N just north of Blue Horizon Rd. (park area w/ picnic tables).
*Long Lake: 1) DNR launch at the end of Mar Ral Rd on north-northwest of side of Lake. 2) at end of Shore St. off of Parallel on east side of Lake 3) along US-23 S. just south of Shubert Hwy.
SPORTS & RECREATION
Homestead Park: tennis court, basketball court, volleyball court, playground equipment, and bathroom. Located next to the Kauffman Homestead, Grand Lake Chapel , and District Library.
